Join Our Team for an Unforgettable Summer of Creativity and Inspiration!

About Fantasy Theatre Factory:
Fantasy Theatre Factory (FTF) at the Sandrell Rivers Theater is dedicated to cultivating creativity, fostering educational excellence, and providing a fun, engaging experience for children. This summer, we're thrilled to offer two exciting camp locations for young enthusiasts of the arts.

 

Camp Details:

  • Locations: Sandrell Rivers Theater & Temple Beth Am, Pinecrest, FL

  • Camp Dates: June 10 - August 2 (SRT) | June 10 - July 26 (Pinecrest)

  • Camp Hours: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. (8 hr. shifts)

  • Age Range for Campers: 5-14 Years

  • Final Showcases: 2 at SRT | 1 at Pinecrest

 

Positions Available:

  • Associate Counselor: $160/Day

  • Lead Counselor: $200/Day

 

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Artist, you'll be an integral part of our campers' summer experience. Your role involves supervising, educating, and inspiring campers through interactive theater games, educational activities, and the production of final showcases. With your expertise, we aim to not only entertain but also educate and foster a love for the performing arts among children.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a dynamic curriculum tailored to campers' ages and interests.

  • Plan and lead a variety of theater-related activities, including games, singing, dancing, and acting.

  • Supervise campers to ensure a safe and positive environment.

  • Direct and produce final showcases, highlighting the skills and talents developed over the camp.

  • Collaborate with fellow counselors to deliver an unparalleled camp experience.

  • Manage the setup, use, and maintenance of theater equipment and materials.

  • Address and resolve any camper behavioral issues with patience and understanding.

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven professional experience in theater.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience working with children aged 5-14, demonstrating patience and reliability.

  • Positive, energetic personality with a strong affinity for working with youth.

  • Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check.

  • First aid and CPR certification preferred.

Fantasy Theatre Factory is currently recruiting experienced personnel for the following positions for our 2018-2019 Season of Programming at the Sandrell Rivers Theater. Earn extra money at the theater! These short term, one-off job opportunities are a great way to gain additional experience and earn some extra money at the same time!
