The Say Gay! Theatre Festival, presented by Fantasy Theatre Factory, is a bold new celebration of LGBTQ+ creativity and resilience in South Florida. Inspired by the recent attempts to silence and erase LGBTQ voices, this festival uplifts local playwrights, youth artists, drag performers, and visual creators through theatre, art, and community.

Make Florida Gay Again Short Play Festival (Adults 18+):

Submit original 10–15 minute plays.
Open to playwrights from Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe Counties.
LGBTQ-themed content required.
Hosted by a drag queen, with excerpts of banned books integrated.

Free To Be Me Youth Theatre Festival (Ages 13-17):

Submit original 10–15 minute plays centered on anti-bullying, inclusion, and LGBTQ themes.
Open to playwrights from Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe Counties.
Requires parent/guardian consent form.
Hosted by a drag queen, with excerpts of banned books integrated.

You Can’t Erase a Rainbow – Visual Art Exhibition (All Ages):

Submit up to 2 original artworks (painting, drawing, photography, or sculpture).
Works must explore LGBTQ+ themes and be installation-ready.
Selected works displayed throughout the festival, with an opening reception Friday night.
